M&M technician diagnosing a residential irrigation system in LubbockOn-site diagnosis

We do not install new systems. Our work is keeping what you have running correctly, bringing outdated systems up to standard, and certifying backflow assemblies. Quality parts. Fair price. Full crew equipped for the work.

West Texas conditions

Lubbock and the South Plains are hard on systems: wind that shifts spray patterns, hard water that scales nozzles and valves, caliche and compacted soil that hide leaks, and freeze events that crack exposed fittings and backflows. City watering rules and summer heat make dry spots and high bills show up fast. We diagnose with that climate in mind, not a generic checklist from somewhere wetter.

What to expect at a repair consultation

Whether residential or commercial, at the appointment you can expect our technicians to:

  1. Turn on each station from the controller to confirm operation.
  2. If the controller is down, turn on each station manually.
  3. Look for leakage, coverage problems, and inspect the backflow preventer.
  4. Check operation of the full system.
  5. Recommend changes that improve efficiency, only when they earn their keep.

Frequently asked questions

Do you repair systems you did not install?

Yes. Most of our repair work is on systems installed by someone else. We diagnose from the controller out, then fix heads, valves, wiring, leaks, and controllers with quality parts.

Why do I have dry spots on my lawn in Lubbock?

Common causes are clogged nozzles, sunken or tilted heads, low pressure, blocked spray, or a zone that never covered the area well. West Texas wind and hard water accelerate nozzle wear. We run each station and correct coverage on site.

My water bill jumped. Could it be the sprinklers?

Often yes. A stuck valve, broken lateral, or underground leak can waste thousands of gallons. We look for soggy ground, hissing in valve boxes, and meters that move when the system should be off.

A zone will not turn on or will not shut off. What now?

That usually points to a solenoid, diaphragm, wiring fault, or controller issue. We test electrical and hydraulic sides so you are not replacing parts at random.

Do you handle freeze damage and spring startup?

Yes. Exposed backflows, cracked fittings, and failed heads after hard freezes are common here. We repair damage and re-set seasonal runtimes when you are ready for the season.

Can you add heads or zones to my existing system?

Yes, when pressure and design allow. We also repair or add drip, raise or lower heads, and reprogram controllers. We do not install brand-new full systems.

Service area

We serve Lubbock and surrounding counties, including Lubbock, Wolfforth, Shallowater, Idalou, Slaton, and nearby communities. Homes, businesses, and multi-zone sites are all welcome. We service systems we installed decades ago and systems installed by anyone else.
